Spring Clothes 2013

I came to the sad realization when I was packing for Mexico last January that most of my warm weather clothes were either too tight, too short, or just plain didn’t fit. I don’t normally use the changing of the seasons as an excuse to shop EVERY time the weather changes, but I wasn’t about to be looking like a hoochie at work… especially now that I work in a casual work environment.

I went to A LOT of store and hated A LOT of their spring clothes. I am pleasantly surprised to say I found some really Spring clothes at both Target and Maurices. I love getting cute clothes at a reasonable price, so I had to share some of my findings!

Spring Color: NYC Nail Polish

So it might not really feel like spring is here, yet, but you can get some spring color through your nail polish! 🙂  While on one of Target trips, I decided that I wanted some new nail polish.  Personally, I love having my nails painted and think you look more pulled together with a fresh coat on.  I HATE when my nails start to chip, though.  I think that looks trashy and end up peeling it all off in a matter of minutes.  I am also super impatient and usually end up smudging my nail polish because I don’t wait long enough to let them dry (Sara can attest to this).  So, while perusing the health and beauty section at Target I found some quick dry NYC nail polish.  I picked out this lavendar and pink, and love them.  Not only does the polish dry fairly quickly (it’s not actually the minute it says…believe me I tried…but it’s fast) it doesn’t chip right away.  They also were less than $3 so you really can’t go wrong.  Check them out at Target!
